Lee Strobel
Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and best-selling author of more than twenty books. His worldwide bestseller, The Case for Christ, was made into a film in 2017.
Lee earned his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and his Master of Studies in Law at Yale Law School. He worked as a journalist for fourteen years, winning Illinois’ highest journalism honors.
Lee and his wife, Leslie, have been married for over 40 years and live in Texas. He continues to travel across the country speaking and sharing his testimony.
Josh McDowell
As a young man, Josh McDowell hated religion and considered himself agnostic. However, when challenged to examine the claims of Christianity, Josh discovered compelling evidence for the reliability of the Christian faith and put his trust in Jesus.
After his conversion, Josh attended Talbot Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree. As a speaker, he has addressed over 25 million people in 126 countries. He has also written many books including More Than a Carpenter and Evidence That Demands a Verdict.
Josh and his wife Dottie have been married 48 years. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
Sean McDowell
Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping believers to make the case for Christianity. He is a professor of Apologetics at Biola University and holds a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Sean has authored many books, several with his father, Josh McDowell, including More Than A Carpenter and Evidence that Demands a Verdict. Sean is also the general editor for The Apologetics Study Bible for Students.
In April 2000, he married his high school sweetheart, Stephanie. They have three children and live in San Juan Capistrano.
Gary Habermas
Gary Habermas is a Professor of Apologetics at Liberty University. He is considered the foremost scholar in the world today on the topic of the Resurrection. His “minimal facts” approach to the resurrection has revolutionized a generation of New Testament scholars.
Habermas has authored over forty books and has lectured in universities such as Stanford, Princeton, Cambridge, and Duke among others. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Michigan State University where he wrote his dissertation on subject of Jesus’ resurrection.
He currently resides in Lynchburg, VA with his wife, Eileen. They have 7 children and 13 grandchildren.
Daniel Wallace
Dan is a Professor of New Testament at Dallas Theological Seminary and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts.
As an internationally known Greek New Testament scholar and manuscript expert, Wallace has been a consultant for four Bible translations (ESV, TNIV, NKJV, and the NET Bible) and has lectured at universities around the world including Oxford, University of Athens, St. Andrews, and the London School of Theology.
Wallace holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Pati, have been married for more than 40 years and currently reside in Texas.
Craig Evans
Craig A. Evans is a Professor of Christian Origins at Houston Baptist University. Author and editor of more than seventy books, Craig Evans has lectured extensively in many universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Durham, and Yale.
He has also appeared in many documentaries and TV interviews for the BBC, The Discovery Channel, History Channel, and others. He is well-known for his contribution to work on the Gospels, the Historical Jesus, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and archaeology of the New Testament.
Professor Evans holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Claremont Graduate University and lives in Texas with his wife, Ginny.
Mike Licona
Mike Licona is a Professor of Theology at Houston Baptist University and the President of Risen Jesus, Inc. He is a frequent speaker on university campuses and has appeared on dozens of radio and television programs.
Licona is a prolific debater having participated in over 20 public debates with Muslims, skeptics, and atheists. He’s the author of many books including an academic study of Gospel differences titled “Why Are There Differences in The Gospels?”
Mike Licona holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Pretoria. He and his wife Debbie have two grown children: Alexandra and Zachary.
